Aditya Narayan BLUFFS, media falls for it!
Aditya Narayan’s earlier version [exact quotes]:
“Meri sari savings khatam ho gayee hai.” (Because of the Coronavirus lockdown). “I’ve literally finished my savings. Maine jo Mutual Funds mein paise-waise daal ke rakhe the — I had to withdraw all of that money.” (sic)
“I have some 18,000 (presumably rupees) remaining in my bank account. So if I don’t start working in October, I will have no money. I will have to sell off my bike or something.” (sic)
YES. HE DID SAY THAT. HERE’S THE PROOF.

The media covered this, but now Aditya Narayan has denied and rubbished it:
Aditya Narayan’s ‘new story’ (story bole toh, kahani)
[exact quotes from his interview in TellyChakkar]:
“This particular interview was taken a month and a half ago. So, the reporter generally asked me how do I react with the decision about offices being re-opened and shooting being resumed amid pandemic and I gave an answer looking at the current scenario on how lockdown has affected livelihood and has made it difficult for all of us. I generally mentioned that I have bought a new apartment before the lockdown so being celebrity even, I have to think about EMIs and if pandemic extends for a longer period all of us have to suffer some way. I casually mentioned that mere 5 lakhs kat gaye hai EMI ke liye aur mere pas abhi 18K bache hai. But that doesn’t mean I have gone bankrupt and I have no money left me. After working for more then two decades and that too working continuously how can I go moneyless?” (sic)
WE DIDN’T HEAR ANYTHING ABOUT 5 LAKH OR EMI’S IN THE VIDEO. DID ANYONE ELSE HEAR WHAT WE COULDN’T? MAYBE, THERE IS A SECRET SEGMENT SOMEWHERE IN BETWEEN THE VIDEO WHICH YouTube DID NOT PLAY FOR US. LOL.
Of course, without fact-checking, the gullible media has bought Aditya’s ‘new’ story too — maybe because they have no time or inclination to research. Moreover, it just fills more pages, web pages and entertains readers and fans. But now YOU know the ‘real’ story.
