Mini review: Qala

Technically brilliant thought-provoking film about parent pressure. Exceptional background score, cinematography, lighting, locales, art design. Interesting story. Music is good, but could have been much better, considering the film revolves around the talent of singing. Performances pass muster. Anushka Sharma in a cameo is just alright.

Special word: The opening titles are spectacular.

Verdict: 4 stars
